Dog bite. Today about Noon I was bitten badly on my calf by a dog while walking along the sidewalk of 42nd Ave SW at about Juneau or Dawson St. I did absolutely nothing to provoke the dog. I just greeted the walker and the dog and walked past, and then the dog bit me. Blood was gushing from my leg, so I exited the scene and walked to an urgent care center who sent me to ER downtown. After it happened I was in a bit of shock and failed to call 911 or get the dog walkers or owners info. Does anyone who lives along or near 42nd Ave SW near Dawson or Juneau know of the owners of the dog? It was being walked by a woman dog walker, age about 35. The dog is a black mixed breed, mostly Labrador. The dog is small for a Lab, less than 3′ tall, with a longish snout. I need to find out if the dog has been thoroughly vaccinated. Any information is appreciated.
