I’ve been thinking a lot about a cat that used to live beside me in Ballard (63rd and 28th). His name was Newton. He was old, hated the cold ground, and his meows sounded like a croak. I didn’t have a cat, but Newton would come around often and hang out with me. He moved to West Seattle about five or six years ago and I missed him terribly. Then I moved to West Seattle three years ago, and I started wondering if maybe he (or his owner) was still around. He’s a brown tabby cat with a notch cut out of one his ears, and loves laying in your lap.
Does anyone know Newton? And if so, is he still with us?
