missmandyMemberI’m sure I spelled that wrong but you get the point! Anyone have a recomendation for a Dermo Doc in W. Seattle? Can’t get hubby to go unless it is within a few miles of home, lord knows he wouldn’t dare venture downtown to see a doc!!

WSBKeymasterAs we always do when someone asks about a business category in which we have a sponsor, we will note here that Westside Dermatology is a WSB sponsor
Haven’t had occasion to personally use their services, but I’m sure you’ll hear from some WSBers with recommendations soon!

michelledMemberI went to Dr. Gee for some basic dermatology needs over a series of three appointments. I found the office to be professional, convenient, and Dr. Gee was great! Nice lady and very helpful. It was my first time at a dermatologist and I picked her based on location alone. I felt lucky to have found a good office and recommend her.

HomerParticipantTried Dr. Arntzen and while SHE was nice, I couldn’t help the feeling that her and WS Derm was solely interested in cosmetic procedures and not the routine mole checkup or skin issue. It’s these places that are too much into cosmetics since these are the money makers and not the basic science of the medical field in question that irk me. Not saying don’t try there but don’t take all the hype and run with it unless what you want is cosmetic in nature. Plus, the fact that they can buy flat panel TV’s for their lobby is a bit *strange*.

Mike D.ParticipantI have been seeing Dr. Arntzen at WS Dermatology for several years for routine skin cancer/mole screenings. Dr. Arntzen always has the time to answer my questions in a calm manner and provides the utmost in professional care and treatment. I would highly recommend her.

JeraldParticipantI like Dr. Arntzen too, but her appointments are generally scheduled way out, 6 weeks or more. And it does feel like a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon’s office.
