ITotallyAgreeWithYouParticipantWho are the appropriate people to contact to voice that Delta’s request for Seatac Airport to become nonprofit for two years and only charge airlines enough to cover operational costs should not be considered until everyone has received ticket refunds from flights *Delta* canceled due to Covid? Port? Seattle City Council? Reps of my district?

scottParticipantRegarding your cancelled flight, have you filed a DOT complaint yet? That will be a lot more effective than leveraging a local political issue and some friends I know tried it and actually got results.

gxnxParticipantWhy are we paying property tax and the port of Seattle is getting the money?

greenteaParticipantDid you book your trip thru example Expedia if so you need to get your money back thru them and not the airline itself even if Expedia says it is not them that you get your money back from.
We know…got the run around from them for weeks and weeks!August 2, 2020 at 9:29 am #984526
ITotallyAgreeWithYouParticipantScott, I hadn’t considered DOT- I will do that, thank you! Greentea-yes! It was through Expedia and they said exactly that. I got partial refunds directly from Delta and American (roughly 1/2) and the rest was a credit to be used by the end of the year, which was through Expedia. Any tips on recovering my money through them?

greenteaParticipantOnce we got an email from Expedia stating they were giving us the full refund we kept on them until we saw the money go back to our CC account, it took a good 6 weeks.
With this pandemic going on I do believe they have to give you full refund not a credit to use later on.
Keep bugging Expedia and Good luck!August 2, 2020 at 12:03 pm #984532
ITotallyAgreeWithYouParticipantThank you, Greentea, will do!

gxnxParticipantCall your credit card company to revert or put a hold on the payment
