There used to be one offered at Hiawatha Community Center, and I think AllStar Fitness had a bellydance fitness class for a while but I don’t know if they still do. Check the Parks and Rec class schedule to see if the Hiawatha class is still offered. It was very reasonably priced and I took several sessions.
Thanks, herongrrl! I checked with Hiawatha and they do still have them. New class starts on 1/5/12, six classes for $59. Methinks I just might sign up!
Leslie Rosen teaches three fabulous belly dancing classes at Youngstown Cultural Arts Center on Wednesday nights. She’s a great teacher, and the classes are a blast. I cannot recommend them enough!
