Laura at Growing Foot Prints Learning Center provides both day care and after hours babysitting for us. I HIGHLY recommend her – she is very caring, her home is set up for in-home child care so there are lots of educational toys, books, etc., and our three-year-old just loves her! We’re looking for an occasional evening babysitter so we can go out to eat or to a movie once a month and up to twice a month, probably a Friday or Saturday night. I’m okay with a responsible high school student, college student, but not middle school aged.

I just opened an infant daycare and am getting responses from what, so far, appear to be responsible young ladies. Send me an email to Amy@trilliuminfantcare.com and I’ll pass along what I find out. Also, I would try stopping in at the West Seattle High school before they close for the summer and ask for recommendations from the teachers.

Hi ! My name is Mindi and I own a small in-home daycare over on Fauntleroy across from the ferry docks (the Munchkin Junction daycare). Once every couple of months I offer a parents night out where we have a fun night of activities planned and you get a date night !
