Baby wrapping mama meetup?

hello all! I’m a west Seattle mother of two enamoured with baby wrapping! I just got my first wrap and have been doing some but I think a little meetup over tea and baby wrapping could really help with my technique and confidence. This is just to gauge interest; if anyone else wants to meet and exchange wrapping tips and tricks, we can coordinate from there.

I don’t even want to look this up because the image I have is that of moms getting together to swaddle their infants in traditional or exotic or bling or thrift shop finds fanfare. Sipping some tea then taking dainty paintbrushes for fine touches of color on the swaddling. Ribbons and/or sequins and/or some tragic choices for final touches. … A 21st Century urban tribal thing? … Anyhow, making me smile and laugh.

lol…not like that at all…my grandson is 11 months old..25 lbs..daughter wears him everywhere. The wraps are bought commercially, and are a specific design, and have instructions how to wear them so baby is supported. And he’s perfectly happy in it. Oh, and can be modified to allow for breastfeeding…

That sounds like such a lovely idea! Baby wrapping can take a bit of practice, but having others to learn with makes it so much easier and more fun.
