Art Classes for Kids! 3-5yrs & 6-12yrs

Hello,

I am a Seattle artist and teacher who is excited to be bringing two different children’s art classes to the Hiawatha Community Center in West Seattle. Here are the descriptions and the links to register. Thanks!

Messy Manifestations!

Prepare to get messy as we dive into a hands on, process oriented art experience that is tailored for 3-5 year olds. Children will develop sensory awareness, fine motor and cognitive skills and creative problem solving abilities in a supportive and nurturing environment. We will explore a range of interesting materials including paint, clay, glue, tape, recycled materials and other fun concoctions! Past Projects include: painting with objects, found object sculpture and underwater painting. Class Fee: $60 Including Materials

Adventures In Art!

Do you love Art? Join us for an adventure through the creative process using a range of artistic mediums from markers to paint and metal. Awaken your inner artist in a non-competitive, fun and encouraging environment where you will learn the fundamentals of drawing, painting and design. We will explore a variety of subjects from people, plants and animals to whatever your imagination can conjure! Past projects include metal embossing, self -portraits, puppets, kaleidoscopes and crayon batik. Recommended Ages: 6-12

Class Fee: $60 Including Materials
