i just called their listed phone number and got a recording that told me the number was changed to a private number..

yet they are on the list of local businesses doing fundraisers for Oso

    anybody know what’s up?

visited website. got different number 206-932-0977. will try again.

at least this one rings through.

the message didn’t tell me what i wanted to know..

but at least it rang through so they are are likely still in business:)))

Still open but with new owners. In fact I had dinner there last night. Not sure why they changed the phone number.

    thanks twobottles

thinking about a leisurely dinner there myself tonight :)

    from the WS4Oso facebook page

“just chatted with the new owners of the Cask and they will have beer & wine specials tonight & tomorrow (Friday & Saturday) from 4pm – 12am. 100% of the proceeds from these specials will go to #WS4OSO. They are new to the neighborhood, so poke your head in and give them a West Seattle welcome. — at The Cask.”

Yes, new owners, husband and wife from Idaho, they took the place about two weeks ago. His name is Marty, a retired firefighter with lots of restaurant experience. Not sure his wife’s name, she’s still in Idaho. He says they’re not planning on many changes, and so far same chef and bartenders/wait staff. They do want to add northwest craft distillery booze – could be fun.
