Synergy3kMemberHello!
I’ve got an ’04 Saturn Ion that has a few odd problems, one of which I know is specific to that particular car (which Saturn refuses to issue a recall for, but that’s another story entirely!)and I really need to get them fixed. In the past all of my repairs have been done through the dealership, but the dealer in Bellevue has pretty lousy reviews. So I’m looking for a new mechanic. So if you own a saturn, where do you take you beast? Or any general recommendations would be good too. I searched earlier and didn’t come up with any saturn specific threads, but I’m not sure it matters. Help!
Sincerely,
Synergy the car challenged

vmdMemberHi – I’ve got a Saturn and also had a really, really terrible experience with the Bellevue service center.
I took my wagon into Renton and had a great experience. They were able to give me concrete answers for three odd problems (such as there is a service bulletin out about your dashboard lights flickering, its normal, don’t worry about it) with no pressure to do any of the recommended work. It cost $200 to get the answers (~50/hr), but given how odd the issues were and how reasonable and seemly correct the answers were it was well worth it.
I have also had my car worked on a Dere automotive on Roxbury and have great things to say about them as well.

QueMemberI have a 2000 Saturn and take my car to Master’s Auto on 16th across from the Albertsons and I have always had great service and care from them.

Synergy3kMemberI’m a bad forum member….made this post and then forgot all about it! Thanks for the reccomendations. :) I think I may give one of the local places a try. Poor Izzie is heading in to get the passenger mirror fixed tomorrow. Next up…brakes, ignition lock, and this odd problem of the RPM’s going up when I put the car in park. *eyeroll*
