From the bridge to Morgan, the stripes are all but gone down the center. I’ve had to honk my horn more than a few times lately to keep people in their lane (the crossover at intersections is not always straight on). It’s becoming a bit dangerous…even worse in the rain.

Re-striping tomorrow for West Seattle Bridge (+ 35th, and more)

did you drive it today? nothing done? we had hoped the eastbound bridge striping crew reported to us in early afternoon was heading that way.

It’s horrible up by Thistle to Roxbury too.

This afternoon as I turned south from Henderson to 35th I noticed new white lane dividing stripes. They ended near SW library.

oh gosh, i hope the city is on its way, indeed. i have been thinking this went left unattended for FAR too long. drives me nuts. i, too, am nearly getting run off the road every day…due to someone coming into my “lane”.

Not only the striping, but the numerous 1/2 a** attempt at patching all the craters from the pipe laying from Trenton to Roxbury.

2 more good reasons to fire Grace Crunican. Didn’t she assure us about 3 weeks ago that all of the sand was being swept up?

Sand sweeping is under way tonight. News release came out of nowhere around 7 pm (I suspect pre-emptively before a Times article that hit online a couple hours ago – although the article focuses on bike-lane concerns, and the sweeping that’s been going on near our house for an hour is nowhere near bike lanes). Check your nearest known sandpile in the morning. Also wrt the pipe project, that’s a private contractor paid by PSE. We updated that one in the past week or so. They have another week or so to go before they start “restoration” (although the Barton stretch west of 35th is now in better shape).
