And yet I keep finding small amounts of these… This one refers to the United Steel Workers Union which is actually a little weird for Pharmaceutical workers, but there are some USW members there.

“About 15,000 USW members work in many segments of the pharmaceutical industry, including some of the largest pharmaceutical manufacturers (such as Pfizer, Merck, Bayer, and Mylan Labs) and mail-order (Medco) and retail pharmacies (Krogers).”

    http://www.usw.org/our_union/workplaces?id=0009

P.S. The link in #124 referring to the Bronx workers say “manufacturing and packaging” of creams and ointments.

“Perrigo Company is a leading global healthcare supplier that develops, manufactures and distributes over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription pharmaceuticals, nutritional products, active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and consumer products.” http://www.perrigo.com

And you’re right, those wages are really low for New York. Don’t know how they survive. I can see why a union has gained a foothold there.
