These include blacksmith forged kitchen-ware; interesting knives, traditional Asian block prints in glass fronted wooden frames; bayonets; walking sticks; hatchets and axes; mountain man gear … and … many other items of both general and special interest.

I was walking on 44th street between Hill and Holgate on North Admiral at about 11 AM today with my father. Across the street, we saw a dog, on leash and with his owner, attack a house cat, while the owner tried to pry the cat out of the dog’s mouth with no luck. The house cat was just sitting in the grass outside of a house on 44th prior to the attack. The dog grabbed the cat in his mouth and would not let go, despite the owner trying to get the dog to let go of the cat. The cat appeared seriously injured – unclear if killed or not, though.

Posting this as a warning to everyone who lets their cats leave the house!

Has anyone had a good experience with a cataract surgeon, including/especially a responsive staff? I’ve struggled for seven months to get answers from staff of a “Best Doctor” and now have to start over due to misinformation and lack of communication. Thanks in advance.

Thank you to those who mentioned and stood up for me in the story about Luna Park, my home for 35 years.(The story says comment time is closed, so I couldn’t comment there) I want to make sure that everyone knows that it was a bummer of a manager I dealt with for months that “let me go”, because he didn’t like my schedule and wanted to give my shift to someone else, not the actual business owner… the owner didn’t know it happened and he is a wonderful person and longtime friend. He totally offered the job back, but I declined, as I did not want to work for that manager. Also, I love Luna, and support the owner in the sale, and I’m really hoping someone that plans to keep it Luna, and bring it back to it’s former glory is the purchaser. Please don’t turn it into something else. Luna is an icon of WS and all of Seattle. It’s a great opportunity for someone! (Ps, no, I’m not going to buy it… ;) ) Although I work 6 days a week (Sunday mornings at Alpine Diner in White Center if you want to come see me) and M-F at another full time job, I’m willing to assist and do some consulting with the new owners if they would like. I want Luna to be there for everyone and their kids and grandkids etc! I love that I watched the lil’s grow up coming in, and then hiring them! So fun. It’s a wonderful place and just want it to keep going. Thank you for your time. Sweetpea

I used to have T-Mobile 5G Internet and it worked well for 1 year but then started experiencing slow speeds at night, especially when streaming shows. After unsuccessfully trying to upgrade the base station I decided that the extreme suckitude of T-Mobile 5G internet was not for me. Fortunately, I was a long term Verizon phone subscriber and got Verizon’s 5G base station and it works great 98% of the time, and if it doesn’t they say why on their site.

I’ve had a great time using this casino platform in Canada. The Sunrise VIP Casino feature stands out with its impressive game selection and smooth interface. The live dealer games add an exciting element to the experience, and the mobile version works perfectly on my phone. The site’s frequent promotions and bonuses make the gaming experience even more enjoyable. Overall, it’s a top-notch site for online gaming enthusiasts.
