Topic: thefts
Interrupted a theft/burglary at 5233 42 ave this morning at 0420.
Hear rustling behind the garage, though it was raccoons in the garbage. Went to run them off and a white, slim, male wearing a yellowish t shirt came around the corner of the garage towards me and grabbed one of my security lights. I told him to stop, he dropped it and ran. Second security light stolen recently. Lawn mower stolen last week. Graffiti rampant in the alley between California and 42nd ave sw. North of Brandon.
I contacted John L Scott for permission to paint over the graffiti but they said they didn’t own the building and would get back to me. Never did.

In fact, you are REQUIRED to do it, as it is illegal to turn across another lane of traffic going the same direction. You are putting cyclists at risk by crossing over their path, and you are holding up traffic that would like to make it through the green light. A turn signal would be great, too.
