The Job:

Topic: Event Support Associate
PNTA is looking for part-time Event Support Associates to work on an on-call basis in and around Seattle. Your primary responsibility as an Event Support Associate is to help with set up of equipment for live events including lighting, stages, audio and video.
As an Event Support Associate, you work under the supervision of the Event Project Lead and interact often with other staff on site. Generally speaking, you respect authority and collaborate well with other crew members on the job site and are kind and courteous to clients. Attention to detail is critical.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Set up events. You respond to and follow your Lead on site. You are a master at erecting a stage at three o’clock in the morning, during an absolute downpour. The idea of running cable through a forest in the middle of the night doesn’t even give you pause.
– Run events. Lighting. Audio Video. Experienced generalists with a couple of disciplines in which they excel do very well as part of a PNTA crew.
– Break down events. Again, you respond to and follow your Lead on site. As you break down a stage, that odd sticky spot doesn’t even consciously register, because you are focused on getting the job done efficiently and safely. No part of the job is beneath you, and you proactively offer help wherever you might be needed once your assigned task is complete.
Other Duties:
– Maintain a safe work environment.
– Assist in warehouse pulling gear for events, as directed.
– Display a high level of professionalism with clients and coworkers.
Qualifications:
– Ability to drive a 14’ to 24’ foot truck is highly desirable. A clean driving record is a must.
– Must be able to stand, walk, bend and lift gear up to 50 lbs for the majority of an eight-hour workday.
– Must have the ability to read and write English.
– Must be dependable and punctual. Excuses will not be tolerated.
– Must be available to work irregular hours.
– Must be hard-working and self-disciplined.
– Must be able to prioritize according to multiple deadlines.
– Must be able to work well independently as well with others.
– Must be flexible, able to respond with calm efficiency to the unexpected, and maintain a cool head
under pressure.
– Must be willing to take a qualifications exam.
– A sense of humor is strongly recommended but not required.
– One (1) year production experience preferred.

We currently have a position available for a Lead Carpenter. This position oversees the project and performs the carpentry work . Your job is to do the work and work with the subs and suppliers and make sure everything works well on site.
This position is supported by the Project Manager, Office Manager and the Company Owner.
You like to work independently and have organization and communication skills. We provide support with the paperwork and scheduling and weekly meetings. You care about the customer and want to make sure their concerns are heard. We provide an organized approach to projects that keeps drama to a minimum.
Summary of key responsibilities
-Understand blueprint drawings and written specifications. As well as work orders, change orders and other construction related paperwork
-Perform rough and finish carpentry to company’s standard of quality and according to the plans and specifications. This includes ability to do layout, framing, siding. Install cabinets and trim, doors and windows,
-Have some experience with dry wall.
-Being able to do simple repairs in plumbing, electrical and flooring is a plus.
-Interact positively and collaboratively with the Owner and Architect.
-Able to meet and work with building inspectors
-Ensure jobsite safety, Maintain a safe jobsite.
-Install dust protection and weather protection.
Required Knowledge, skills and abilities:
-The ability to read and understand construction documents
-Experience with all phases rough and finish carpentry
-Good communication skills
– Computer literate with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and outlook
-Neat appearance, non-smoker
-Reliable vehicle, preferably truck or van
-Ability to perform physically demanding work on a consistent basis, including lifting 60 lbs.
-Washington State drivers’ license and good driving record.
-Cell phone, full complement of hand tools and small power tools required.
