If you’ve brought it up to your supervisors and nothing is happening, I’d consider making a complaint to OSHA – the occupational safety and health administration. This is totally the stuff they deal with. Is anyone else having problems? That would bolster your claim. OSHA has a section on indoor air quality. https://www.osha.gov/SLTC/indoorairquality/

On the same site, under the “worker” tab is where you go to file a complaint. Good luck.

    Hey friends,

I don’t post very often because generally I don’t have anything new to add to the conversation. In this current climate I’ve been tuning out a great deal because, mainly because I’m a Black American. That statement is where people usually listening/reading as if I’m whining, “ungrateful”, or un-American (which, unless you’ve been shot at for this country, will really piss me off!).

The reason I mention being a Black American is because regardless of the outcome of the 2020 election, the day to day reality of being part of the country’s “Brown-skinned” population will not change. It didn’t change under Clinton nor Obama and they were color blind leaders. Now if you’re thinking that things HAVE indeed gotten better for us Brown people the first thing you should do is look in the mirror because you’re probably not one yourself. Secondly ask yourself if thinking everything is better for us while ignoring all data that contradicts this belief, is that helping the marginalized or the oppressors? I look at it probably like you look at climate change… “how can all of these intelligent people just ignore the numbers and just blindly believe something that is not true? (Climate change is a myth or Brown people in America are not second-class-citizens) I am continually dumbfounded by this phenomena.

I personally believe that it’s going to take a White male to bring health back to the country. By health I mean restore the promise of America, a country based on principals, not on money. Yeah, I catch flack for that belief, especially from my Black AND female friends. Well I heard this professor explain what I had been struggling to put into words and I wanted to share it with everyone I could.

If you want to know the tip of the iceberg that is what it’s like being a Brown person in America, check this out. Two very smart people trying to cut through the hype. I’m not going to apologize if my thoughts and opinions upset anyone, but I do want you to know I mean no disrespect. It’s just my reality and has been for 54 years.
