My introduction to this engaging online platform came through a newsletter highlighting Australian online entertainment. It specifically praised Casіno Canberra for its new player bonuses. After signing up, I discovered the bonuses were indeed generous, extending my playtime significantly and enhancing my initial experience without any additional investment, making it a rewarding entry into online gaming.

Kol HaNeshamah is Looking for a Few Great Teachers!
Contact Elizabeth at khneducator@khnseattle.org or 425.765.6971

West Seattle’s progressive synagogue is dedicated to Torah (Learning), Avodah (Worship/Prayer), Tzedek, (Justice) Tikkun (Healing), and K’hillah (Community). And we are looking for a couple of excellent teachers for our supplemental education program to begin in September 2024.

    Small classes and great kids!
Saturday classes meet on the first and third Shabbat weekends from 9:30 – 11:30 am.

Hebrew Classes meet every Tuesday afternoon from 4:45 – 6:15 pm.
We have two positions to fill for the coming school year. One is a classroom teacher for our 6th-grade Hebrew class. Our program teaches prayer, not Hebrew as a language, so fluency in Hebrew is not required. However, the ability to read Hebrew and knowledge about the liturgy are both important. The pay rate is between $42 and $45/hour, depending on experience.

The other position is a Hebrew Through Movement specialist who would visit all the classes on Tuesdays and Saturday mornings. Hebrew Through Movement is a fun and exciting way to get the kids up and moving and learning as they go. For more information about Hebrew Through Movement, follow this link: https://www.hebrewthroughmovement.org/

This specialist position includes ten hours of paid time for training this summer. The training is through the website above and is a series of videos you can watch on your own schedule. The pay rate for this position is $40/ hour for ten hours of training and $48/hour for classroom work.

Bestie Westie Seattle G-Sale Ever! Today Saturday and Sunday 06/21 – 06/23/2024.

This time I will put items on tarps according to price. This should alleviate any confusion and make it easier to find the items that you’re looking for. Most of the items have not yet been posted or listed on line.

My repeat customers are always saying “You always have the best stuff for sale.” Well it’s because I buy and sell for a living full time for the past 15 years. This year will be even better because 2 of my biggest clients have gone out of business and I have been stocking up for them all winter. Everything is brand name, high quality, shelf ready items for sale. I just don’t have the capacity to sell it all myself.

When I say I have a lot of stuff for sale, I mean a ton. Not just 1 or two of the items I have listed below, but dozens, if not several dozen.

What I have is antiques, collectibles, sports gear, golf bags, clubs, vintage toys and clothing, professional scuba fins, tennis rackets, tents, backpacks and camping equipment. I also have bikes, SUP, stand up paddle board, inflatable rafts and kayaks. There are about 200-300 DVD’s and CDs all in excellent, scratch free condition. Maybe about 30 classic rock albums in excellent condition. I also have a good collection of framed art and antique statues as well as folk art and garden art.

I will be adding more items constantly as soon as something sells, so expect new items hourly. I have 3 other friends helping me and they will have stuff of their own for sale. More photos will be posted soon.

I accept cash, PayPal and Venmo. Look for the yellow sandwich boards.

The sale is happening in the backyard, so just follow the signs. Please no early birds.

    Friday 06/21/2024 9-4 Saturday 06/22/2024 9-4 Sunday TBD

    Address:
7134 32nd Ave SW West Seattle, WA 98126

    See ya soon!

    Thanks,
    Jim

The more you buy the lower the price per item.

    Hi there,

If you are sticking to West Seattle you would want to go to Delridge Community Center, when they have indoor pickleball. The crowd will be older a little more patient and less likely to get frustrated with a newbie player. M and W 10:15AM to 1:15PM and 12:30-7:30PM on Fridays. Avoid High Point Courts as the players there are more competitive. Delridge is typically slower mid day after 12-1pm if you want to just go mess around but if you show up any day and the paddles are stacked then you are expected to not hold a court and just put your paddles in the mix and play. At Delridge most mornings 9am-12pm if the weather is good there will be quite a few players and the courts might be full. On weekends they will be full most of the day. I would recommend understanding the scoring, serve and stay, where to stand when receiving and the rules about the lines and the kitchen before trying to play.
This YouTube covers all of that. . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Vk-c8TdC28

    Hope that helps!
