Providence is calling a Cook (Food & Nutrition Services, Day Shift, 0.8 FTE) to Providence Mount St. Vincent in Seattle, Washington. We are a community of caregivers delivering every day on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.
In this position you will:
* Follow standardized recipes to prepare hot meals, and use knowledge of dietary restrictions to make modifications as necessary.
* Assist in dish room (washing dishes, pots, pans, and cleaning area and restocking).
* Adhere to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, storage preparation and serving of food.Required qualifications for this position include:
* High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
* Current Food Handlers Card
* Proficiency in basic math skills
* 4 years of consistent employment in related culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work)
* Experience preparing foods in high quantities

Swedish Automotive is an independent mechanical repair shop in West Seattle and have been in business since 1983. We are an automotive industry leader specializing in Volvo, Subaru, Mini and SAAB vehicles. ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a Specialty Programs Administrator at the Hiawatha Community Center to assist in the coordination, and implementation of a summer specialty camp program and a variety of seasonal sports offered throughout the year.
Schedule:
•Monday – Friday 30 hours per week
•April through August will be Monday – Friday 40 hours per week
•Must be able to work year-round
•Schedule subject to change due to program/season and business needsResponsibilities:
•Assist in the implementation and management of a sustainable, organized and effective specialty camp programs
•Assist in the preparation of marketing and registration materials for specialty camp programs
•Assist in maintaining all required administrative reports, budgeting, forms, attendance records, activity logs, accident/incident/occurrence forms. Review all forms to ensure completeness and accuracy.
•Assist in the hiring, training, coaching and supervising of staff to ensure the delivery of safe, engaging and enriching camps to the public
•Frequently communicate with instructors, staff, and parents and program participants
•Establish and maintain a relationship of mutual trust and support with program participants, their families, the community and the center coordinator
•Others duties as assignedRequirements:
•Must be at least 21 years of age
•A Bachelor’s degree in Recreation or a related field is desired. Two years college and/or AA degree in recreation, leisure studies, education or a related field is desired. Experience can be substituted on a case by case basis with 2 years of experience equaling 1 year of education.
•Minimum of 2 years experience planning, implementing and supervising recreation and or sports activities for children
•Minimum of 2 years experience of supervisory experience
•A flexible approach to addressing challenges and a desire to provide excellent customer service
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills, time-management, and organizational skills required
•Computer experience required (Microsoft Office suite)
•Must have current First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to attain
•Must successfully complete a background check

RESPONSIBILITIES
In the production room, this position is responsible for all aspects of the physical construction and assembling of signs from computer cut vinyl and wide format full color printouts. Sign assembly includes preparing substrates and applying vinyl or other media according to written instructions. Also, mounting and/or laminating prints and operating and setting up the laminator for over-laminating, encapsulation, or mounting of digital imaged products is required. Proofreading signs and conducting quality assurance to ensure the accuracy of signs is required.This position is also responsible for creating computer generated vinyl and/or full color graphics output that can be weeded, cut and applied or printed and mounted to a substrate. This may involve various levels of artistic creativity and will ultimately lead to the complete or modified design from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to media.
Participate in and practice the FASTSIGNS sales mentality of “Everybody Sells”. Constantly be looking for sales opportunities for the center. Serve as a backup for answering the phone if the franchise partner/ manager are busy assisting other customers. Assist at the front counter as needed. Understand the sales process to consult with customers to determine project needs and solutions.
