Single parent household seeking energetic and caring daytime home caregiver and companion for 20-year-old young woman with cerebral palsy. Sense of humor and positive attitude required. Duties include assisting with all ADLs, including transfers from bed to wheelchair and back. Hoyer lift available to assist with transfers in bedroom. You’ll do meal preparation and light housekeeping, as well as assist with homework and accompany on social outings. Hours are Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-9pm in the Delridge neighborhood of West Seattle. Occasional opportunities to stay overnight and be paid for 24hrs/day. Job share acceptable, if you have a friend you’d like to split the hours with. CNA or NAC license a major plus. You must be strong enough to transfer 85 pound person safely. You must also be authorized to work in the United States, have driver’s license, good driving record, and feel comfortable driving a wheelchair accessible van. Spanish bilingual a plus (we are a bilingual family)! We are willing to train on the job, so if you don’t have experience but you’re willing to learn, this is a wonderful opportunity! DESCRIPTION:

In this position you will:
Follow standardized recipes to prepare hot meals, and use knowledge of dietary restrictions to make modifications as necessary.
Adhere to all sanitary regulations governing the handling, storage preparation and serving of food.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED)
Current Food Handlers Card
4 years of consistent employment in related culinary environment (prep work and/or grill work)
Experience preparing foods in high quantities
Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English

This was a top of the line plasma TV when I purchased it, only rivaled by the high end Pioneer plasma displays at the time. Superb black levels and excellent performance for a variety of input signals and watching movies. It’s a lengthy explanation, but this display has been essentially sitting in climate controlled storage for the past 7 years. It was used for less than a month before I abruptly left the U.S. for Japan. I took it out of the box to take some photos and to ensure it still functions 100%. This is a complete IKEA twin bed, includes a high quality latex mattress, an adjustable foundation, and the frame. This bed has been in climate controlled storage for the past 7 years. It was used for a short time before I abruptly left for Japan. And now I am leaving again. The mattress was always in a protector, inside a cloth cover which was inside the IKEA comforter cover. I believe I paid over $400 for the mattress alone. The foundation is adjustable at both ends (inclines at the head and foot of the bed), I don’t think IKEA makes these in twin size anymore. The successful candidate will demonstrate the initiative and ability to help shape a safe, enriching, and innovative after-school program for elementary and middle school students.
