Haven’t got this call, YET. I would just hang up anyway as don’t know anyone who would be ther and wouldn’t “help” a stranger.

A while after the Christmas show at the Tacoma Dome I got a call saying I’d won $100. Since I entered a drawing there I was somewhat interested. When I asked where this offer was from she named several stores, one of which I’d shopped at but hadn’t entered anything anywhere else. She began to tell me how I could collect. “If you send A fee of $5.95 we’ll send it to you immediately. I then said “No thankyou” and hung up. I assume a ploy to get my information.

I called police one other time because someone said they were my grandson who got a great job out of the country. He sounded like my grandson but mine would not have been doing anything computer related. More likely iron work or steel. When he said he needed money to get there I said “You’re not my grandson!” and hung up. Police said to always get a phone number when possible and report to them. They have to have a number to do anything.

Being a senior citizen, I keep getting calls telling me the alert button system I ordered is ready to be mailed. No charge. I’ve been told its also a scam because if you accept it you have buy it.

All these people are the lowest of life to scam the elderly, in particular, but anyone.
