First of all, wow, didn’t such hatred existed for Safeway. guess our family has been living in a bubble on the grocery store wars.

I visited the new QFC twice now and have liked it. Nothing a real WOW factor, but a nice selection, and some good prices due to the opening. But even with the few items I picked up on my trips, was surprised at the price when checking out. Parking – in city grocery store – what I expected i guess.

But for our family, I guess we will have to stick mostly with the disgustingly gross jefferson square safeway. It fits our budget and what we can afford right now and the staff has always been nice to us.

But nice to see choices locally.
