Um, NR, McCain was in prison from 1968-1973. Obama was 7 in 1968 — that’s when he was learning to be an islamic terrorist in Indonesia. It’s hard to keep those talking points straight. :-).
My issue with McCain isn’t what he was or wasn’t doing in 1972. It’s what he’s doing and thinking now.
One of my minor issues with Repubs is what they did to yet another True American(sic) Hero. It’s difficult for me not to long for revenge now, because I’m really not a very good person(tm) in that regard. Fortunately, the left doesn’t have to make up criticism of McCain’s war record — we can just use what the Bush campaign generated in 2000.
All three candidates have preacher problems. Your comments about Wright’s hating America(sic) and singing God Damn America are good rehearsal for what we’ll face in the campaign for the general election. I can only hope that the Obama campaign has the courage and patience to explain exactly why both statements in no way reflect the attitude of Jeremiah Wright.
BTW, does McCain still hate all gooks? See what I mean?
