The story of the trees that were chopped down in front of Madison Middle School fits right into this thread. What the hell is going on here lately? I was sad to read about the holiday decorations, but the tree mutilation really pisses me off. These are (were!) living organisms that obviously never hurt anyone. What kind of a sociopath do you have to be to chop down trees for no reason?? A bored one, I suppose. Do we still have labor camps? If not, there’s a great idea for a ballot initiative.
