Remaining Native follows Ku Stevens, a rising Native American athlete, as he chases his dream of becoming a collegiate runner while grappling with the intergenerational trauma of his great-grandfather’s escape from an Indian boarding school. This coming-of-age documentary weaves personal ambition with historical truth, offering a powerful exploration of resilience, identity, and healing.
