Come party for a cause at Salty’s (WSB sponsor) “Tuesday Tune-Up” on Tuesday, November 13 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Alki Café-Bar for cocktails, appetizers and live music, and help raise funds for the Westside Baby!

Seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and there is no admission charge. Enjoy specialty cocktails and appetizers while you tap your toes to the live music and partake in our raffle.

Emcee Victor Janusz, Salty’s resident brunch piano man, hosts the monthly event held from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in the Café-Bar. He will salute the end of this second year of spotlighting local non-profits in Seattle, raising awareness and funds, while having a good time with live music, raffle gifts and great appetizer/cocktail specials! Singer Mimi McLeod joins Vic for a set of tunes at the piano. WestSide Baby Director Nancy Woodland will tell us about some exciting updates and greet you and other party-goers!

Headquartered in West Seattle, the non-profit WestSide Baby provides essential items to over 20,000 local toddlers (up to size 12). As a hub for collecting and distributing gently used and new items, more than 100,000 low-income families and kids in King County benefit from their services since 2001, and at no charge! Donations are gratefully accepted throughout the night for WestSide Baby.

Vic took a tour of the West Seattle facility, courtesy of Devo Director Sarah Couch, and says, “I was amazed by the sheer efficiency of clothes, toys, diapers in a warehouse atmosphere being collected, cleaned and organized for over ninety partnership groups. Washers and dryers were going non-stop! And I learned the average baby goes through fourteen diapers a day! “No wonder there’s a big need for a group like WestSide Baby!” (Diapers are not covered by WIC, government support or food stamps.)
