On Saturday, May 18, the West Seattle Rhodies will play their first-ever home match as a new addition to the USL W League. To mark this exciting occasion, we’re introducing a new tradition: our March to the Match.

The march will begin at EC Hughes Playground and end at the Nino Cantu Southwest Athletic Complex. This community-powered walk is meant to be filled with the vibrant energy and support of our fans, families, and neighbors—all showing up for a vision of soccer that’s inclusive, local, and rooted in West Seattle pride.

The march will be led by Junction FC Head Coach Erik Oman, alongside members of Junction FC. We’ll meet at EC Hughes at 12:30 PM, begin the march at 12:50 PM, and arrive at the stadium just as the gates open—perfect timing for some pre-kickoff festivities.

Once we arrive, fans are welcome to head to their seats or enjoy activities around the stadium. This will be a family-friendly environment, featuring face painting, sign-making, local vendors, and food options beyond just concessions.

This is a celebration of our club, our neighborhood, and the traditions we’re building together. We can’t wait to march with you.
