The Public is welcome to attend the Kiwanis meeting, August 7, Wednesday, to learn more about Akin, a merger of Childhaven and Children’s Home Society. The program starts at 6 PM, so please arrive by 5:45 PM to order off the menu.

Akin exists to support and strengthen Washington state families. From prenatal to adulthood, prevention to intervention, our programs and services are built upon more than a century of helping create nurturing environments and systemic improvements for families in the state. As they move into the future, they are holding fast to their dedication to keeping families together. Kiwanians will be learning how West Seattleites can help Akin in these efforts.
