There are many reasons to start your own plants from seed, and especially when growing a vegetable garden. From the choice of more varieties of plants to a cheaper starting cost, starting seeds also is a satisfying and fun experience. Learn about how to get seeds started successfully in pots, trays, or directly in garden beds and about what they need to thrive. We will talk about soil choices, seed options and places to find them, as well as a few tips on saving seeds for next year. Start a pot or two to take home and grow.

Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.

We will provide seed, soil, and pots for you to take home and grow.

Families are welcome; children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
