Fit for Her Seattle–Local Women Gather to Help End the Global Water Crisis

We’re two local women excited to be hosting Fit for Her Seattle–a workout and fundraiser in one.

Event check-in begins at 9 a.m. with a Hiit, plus yoga workout, followed by social time with treats, swag and your choice of coffee or mimosas, or both.

Fit for Her is more than your average fitness event. It’s designed to be one Saturday morning to come together as the local Seattle community, to power up our bodies, and empower our hearts and minds to then help others. Fit for Her wants to encourage women to be a part of something bigger and end the Global Water Crisis.

The Global Water Crisis affects over a billion people each year with nearly 1 in 9 people around the world living without access to clean water. This lack of safe water locks communities, but particularly women and children, into a cycle of poverty by stripping them of their health, dignity and opportunity. It keeps communities under educated, sick and economically stagnant. The lack of clean water and sanitation results in 443 million missed days of school, 260 billion dollars in lost economic opportunity, and nearly 1 million deaths every year. In order for individuals to heal, communities to thrive and countries to develop, the vital need for safe water must be met.

Tickets to Fit for Her Seattle are $30 per person, with every penny going toward clean water projects supported through The Her Initiative.
