Evergreen Ensemble, the professional choral collective based in Edmonds, begins its third season with two opening concerts on September 13 and 14, 2025. The fall program, “Where You Belong,” explores themes of community and belonging through a diverse and moving choral repertoire.

“In a world that often feels uncertain or fragmented, the simple act of listening, breathing, and creating sound together can restore a sense of reunion and hope,” says Artistic Director and Founder David Hendrix.

The program weaves together works by leading contemporary voices—including Rosephanye Powell, Caroline Shaw, Will Todd, Jocelyn Hagen, Kyle Pederson, Alex Berko, and Stephen Paulus—performed by an ensemble of some of the region’s finest professional choral artists, alongside guests from across the country. Together, their voices create a tapestry of music that speaks to the challenges of building places of belonging, and the ways we can support one another through them.

Performances take place:
• Saturday, September 13, 6:00 PM – Trinity Lutheran Church, Lynnwood
• Sunday, September 14, 3:00 PM – Holy Rosary Catholic Church, West Seattle

Tickets and memberships for Evergreen Ensemble’s 2025–26 season are available online at www.evergreenensemble.com/tickets or at the door.

This fall’s program launches a season that also includes a winter collaboration with Seattle Children’s Chorus, highlighting the next generation of choral artists, and a spring concert featuring the world premiere of Connor Koppin’s To The West.

Now entering its third season, Evergreen Ensemble is committed to bringing high-quality, professional choral music to the Pacific Northwest. With programs that pair premieres and contemporary works alongside music of earlier eras, the ensemble seeks to reintegrate choral music into the region’s cultural fabric, reviving it as an art form that belongs not just in the concert hall, but in the shared life of the community.
