Friday and Saturday, January 4 and 5 – Peter Mintun in Concert
I belong to a not-very-exclusive club of professional pianists who would give anything to play like New York cabaret artist Peter Mintun. Michael Feinstein put it succinctly: “When I grow up, I want to be Peter Mintun.” Liberace once sat in admiration listening to Peter, and greeted him warmly and respectfully after the performance. Many other keyboard artists, such as Michael Tilson Thomas and Max Morath, are also loyal fans.

What distinguishes this artist? For me it’s the style, accuracy, humor, and grace with which he flies over the keys. He negotiates wildly contrasting moods with ease, and he pulls it all off with panache, occasionally flashing an impishly playful smile.

Please visit petermintun.com to learn more about this remarkable artist.
