Meet Heather Weldon, Supported Employment Program Manager, and Steve Zwerin, Director, HR Investigations Unit.
Weldon will share the secret ingredients that make the City’s internationally recognized program to hire people with developmental disabilities so successful. Learn more about how the City is addressing equity and inclusion with this creative approach to inclusive hiring.
Zwerin will be speaking about the City’s diversity recruitment efforts and strategies to encourage applicants who might otherwise be overlooked or excluded from traditional hiring processes. Zwerin will also cover services provided by Seattle Human Services to applicants and existing employees with guidance on resumes, interviewing, and much more.
