It’s snowy-slushy-sleeting out there

While driving back from the Fauntleroy Schoolhouse meeting moments ago, we spotted something we hadn’t seen in a loooong time – big wet snowflakes smacking against the car windshield. At least here in Upper Fauntleroy. And you? 8:49 PM UPDATE: Should have checked the forum first, Todd says it was snowing in Westwood as of 20 minutes ago. 8:52 PM UPDATE: Forecast says the “showers mixed with snow” could continue into tomorrow. 10:12 PM UPDATE: Thanks to Todd for the photo!

Mixed rain & snow (well, mostly rain) up at the Admiral Safeway around 8:30. It’s springtime, right?

did anyone else see the bad accident on the bridge?

surprised because when i drove by it there was 1 cop like 20 feet ahead of it with flashing lights but the cars (1 way back 3 smashed next to each other) all seemed deserted but no other cops or people in sight, i thought kind of odd.

    I’m right behind Adm. Safeway…haven’t seen a thing…guess I didn’t look at the right time :)

Yeah, I drove by the accident at about 8:30 or so and there was only one cop at the very beginning of the accident, (on Westbound side of Bridge) and it was only after I had passed the cop that I realized that all the cars in that lane were involved (yes, and deserted looking) It looked like maybe 5 or 6 cars, though I was trying to not look and focus on the driving in the snow, so I didn’t get a good look. Seemed odd to me too.

Thanks Jan. I just got her to bed when I looked outside to see the snow. I couldnt let her miss, what could be the last gasp of winter. So I got her up and re-dressed to go out and catch snowflakes. At this point I would rather be worrying about sunscreen though.

Sorry, comment time is over.
