West Seattle Weekend Lineup: February finale

The last full weekend of February is full of fun … from a pancake breakfast to a soup and chili cookoff, from a pruning workshop to an open house for the Fire Station 37 project, from Parents’ Afternoon Out and Parents’ Night Out child-care offerings to Sunday fundraisers to help a brave child and a beloved pet. We’ve listed 39 events:

FRIDAY NIGHT: Westerly (West Seattle band) plays Easy Street After Hours with David Bavas (David will be opening up the show at about 9 pm, Westerly will follow)

FRIDAY NIGHT: Live music at Skylark with Mama Tried, All American Playboys, Speedmop, starts at 9 pm

FRIDAY NIGHT: Live music with Gray Sky Falling, Bamboo on Alki, 10 pm

SATURDAY MORNING: Corner Pocket in The Junction opens 7 am for European sports viewing (website here)

    Go see Mama Tried at Skylark. They are a great band with an awesome rockabilly, old country, alt country sound. Speed Mop is great also. They kinda remind me of Steve Earle.
