All genres of writing are welcome, and the class is ideal for both beginners and experienced writing. Fall session (7 twice-monthly classes on Sundays): Sept 23, Oct 7, Oct 21, Nov 4, Nov 18, Dec 2, Dec 16 Time: 10am – noon / Price: $280.

This is a new class held in the Gatewood Bed & Breakfast in West Seattle. The Gatewood is a 1910 Craftsman-style home with rich history, lovely grounds and beautiful interiors – it’s a truly unique setting to cultivate creative energy and give yourself space to write. Throughout the course you will learn to identify and foster your own strengths as a writer, and gain techniques to tackle any areas you find difficult. Unlike most, the class runs all year, with new enrollments at the start of each seasonal session. This offers you the chance of continuing over time if you find the experience rewarding, providing ongoing support to sustain your writing through constructive, individually-tailored teaching and a community of peers.
