ONE MORE DAY: Arbor Heights sidewalk feedback requested by tomorrow

As we reported last Tuesday, that’s a map of the blocks where SDOT plans “conceptual design” of potential new sidewalks and/or walkways, funded by the Seattle Transportation Levy. Full details are in this report, and SDOT is asking for feedback by tomorrow (Tuesday, January 20), so in case you didn’t have time last week, here’s your reminder. levysidewalks@seattle.gov is where to send your comments.

Put a brand new  one from  35th to marine view dr. Down sw 100th.  That’s the main road  in arbor heights.  It’s even  the main bus route.

I would like to see a community meeting.  I have comments and questions and I don’t think I am the only one.  I left messages with both levysidewalks@seattle.gov and Rob Saka’s office.

Well, I took a walk down 106th yesterday. My biggest question is where will people park?I noticed most of the street where they plan the sidewalk has gravel in front of the houses where people park. The is no room for a sidewalk and space for car parking.

Michael, was that down the north side of 106th?  Was that from the proposed cross streets (MVD to 31st Ave SW)?

Sorry, comment time is over.
