WEST SEATTLE CRIME WATCH: Pigeon Point gunfire investigation

Police are investigating a confirmed gunfire incident on Pigeon Point. It was reported shortly before 9 pm in the 4500 block of 21st SW. Responding officers found shell casings; no injuries reported. Whoever fired the shots was in a vehicle; one texter tells us they “saw a blue SUV speed away.” If you have any information, the SPD incident number is 24-074883.

Yes. A number of us heard those. Around 8. Near 26th and Hudson south end of the golf course.

Regarding Sunday night, there was no confirmed gunfire (criteria: shell casings, bullet damage, injured person, and/or eyewitness) but police responding to one set of 911 calls found evidence of fireworks. Sorry I can’t recall exactly where they found that but might have been the sound in question – TR
