Oh, geez. Hope it was empty…

Are you missing a backpack with work clothes?  One landed in my front yard. I’m figuring it is from a stolen vehicle or truck that was broken into.

Well that’s more than a little disconcerting.  Aside from the fact that it sucks for the poor business that lost their truck, were any documents in the truck when it was stolen?  And, if so, were they already rendered unreadable or were they awaiting transport to a shredding facility?

The irony.  I hope there weren’t any documents in it.

Burien PD just found this truck in the parking lot near the Pizza Gallery on 128th/Ambaum.

Thanks! Concurrently we got this email from a reader: “I wanted you to know that I showed your story of the stolen ADG truck to my friend and when he went to work later he saw it in the parking lot. He immediately called 911 and a cop came to investigate and hopefully reunite it with the company.” (I sent the person who emailed us the stolen-truck report earlier today to make sure they knew – not sure if they were the registered owner or someone else but here’s hoping police have reached the owner.) – TR
