2:25 PM: If you’re headed for southbound 35th, note there’s a two-vehicle crash at Elmgrove, with SFD and SPD on scene right now, so you might want to wait a while or choose an alternate north/south arterial.
2:48 PM: We just went over the check, and the scene had already cleared.
2:55 PM: Dispatchers are busy this afternoon, sending police to other crash scenes, including one just reported at Highland Park Way and 2nd SW. Wherever you’re going – give yourself more time.
And at 45th and Wildwood! One car of teenagers, it looks like…hope all are OK!
The SFD responses on that (which was logged as 45th/Brace Point) and this both closed fairly quickly, indicating no serious injuries.
There was some sort of hazardous material at the accident at Brace Point, though, requiring the spill response.
Around 4:30 street was still closed at Canine Casa/ brace point- two SPU vehicles and police car. Cars detouring up 44th- a surprise to us pedestrians who had never seen so much traffic on 44th!
People just like hydroplaning on wet roads at high speeds, what are you going to do:/
