WEST SEATTLE SCENE: Busy night at the beach

That was the scene on Alki, looking east from just past the Bathhouse, not long before sunset. First almost-summer night of the year; the restaurants were hopping, too. Tomorrow will likely be the same, with the temp due back in the 70s, before a cloudy cooldown on Sunday.

Poor Alki locals have to prepare for those rowdy summer nights. Good Luck!

Yeah, it’s too bad the government forced them to choose between hard labor in the gulag and living in the Alki ghetto. Those poor people …….

Yes, so selfish of these cake-eating Alki residents who believe traffic regulations should be observed.

          1) I was addressing the complaining about it being ‘rowdy’ with no mention of how people drive. 2) Anyone who lives down there knows what they signed up for. Alki has been sleepy for 8.5 months and year and overwhelmingly bustling for the rest for at least 50 years.

Todd you are welcome to find a different neighborhood if you don’t like the one you live in. Good luck with expecting Alki to be legislated and enforced into a sleepy summer hangout.

Hahahaha!!  My husband texted me as he was about to wrap up office hours to say,  “hey, let’s get dinner at Alki and watch the sunset!”  I was like, “no way, come home…. It’ll be insane down there!”  Accurate.

Remember when people said there would be noise ordinances for vehicles and attempts to cut back on Alki area drag racing?😂😂😂😂 I’ve heard the same ‘over- compensating’ engines all night here 😒

Yup. Despite speeding, noise and cruising ordnances it’s a real goat rope out here tonight

Sorry, comment time is over.
