OUTAGE: Comcast/Xfinity trouble reported in multiple West Seattle neighborhoods

1:14 PM: Cable outages are often highly localized, but today we’ve heard from people in multiple neighborhoods – including North Admiral, Fairmount Park, and High Point – that their Comcast/Xfinity service is out. One person reports the outage started around 12:30 am. We have an inquiry out to the company, and will add anything we hear back.

1:44 PM: Comcast/Xfinity regional spokesperson Jack Follman says “everything should be up and running” now. Anyone still out?

They were in our Fauntleroy neighborhood yesterday installing updates. We received both flyers and text messages last week warning service would be out a few hours.

We are across from Lincoln Park and service went out sometime shortly after 9am.  There were multiple crews all over the neighbor.  I talked to them on the way to grocery store and they confirmed that the outage was related to the upgrades they had been warning us about for weeks.  However, they were supposed to give us a more specific date and did not.  We were back on line sometime before noon.

Sorry, comment time is over.
