Thanks to Lorabeth for that photo of a storm cell visible from Admiral about an hour ago. Since then, at least part of the peninsula has seen a brief rainshower! @WestSeaWX says it might not be the only one we see before the day’s out.
Mere chance that I glanced at my weather app and was able to bring in my cushions and sneakers minutes before the event. Geesh!
My neighbors got a kick out of seeing me dance in it in my backyard, they were smiling from ear-to-ear. I was sitting out there on the phone with a friend when it started so got up and busted a few moves of joy and pleasure while enjoying the wetness landing on me, wish it was heavier and lasted longer!!
I woke up thinking I could hear raindrops a few times last night, then thought “nah, can’t be”. It was so lovely being able to sleep for the first time in nearly a week, and a bit of rain made for ideal slumber.
