*Seattle Public Utilities‘ pavement-restoration work at California/Myrtle continues.

Metro is on its regular weekday schedule; watch @kcmetroalerts for word of reroutes/trip cancellations.

The West Seattle Water Taxi is on its regular schedule.

BRIDGES AND DETOUR ROUTES

809th morning without the West Seattle Bridge, but later today we expect an update on the reopening timeline.

Low Bridge: Automated enforcement cameras remain in use; restrictions are in effect 5 am-9 pm daily – except weekends; the bridge is open to all until 8 am Saturday and Sunday mornings. (Access applications are available here for some categories of drivers.)

I can’t wait for the update today regarding the bridge. Although I will say, the closure detours only added another 5 minutes to my afternoon commute. Going downtown on Metro during the weekend has been a pain however.

Just an FYI for fellow bus riders. Metro has cancelled a number of routes in and out of West Seattle this morning, including the 128, 50, 55, & 57.

  Thank Dow for this. He is the one who wants everybody to take the Bus but then cancels everything that is supposed to make it easier for you to get to your destination. Him and the City Council are why I would never take public Transportation. I liked how the one time him and his Family went down to Chinatown and he saw how disgusting one of the Bus Stops was so he called his people to come clean it up, while he takes all the Accolades as to getting his job done. Way to go Dow!!!!!

Sorry, no clue on that one. Just looked around Twitter and there were a few similar sightings reported but nothing official, whether training or an incident. Did you see agency names on any of the marked vehicles?

Hi, Wreck on Highland at Holden right now (11:15 am) at the top of the hill. Also, the 2 cameras at Marginal and Highland intersection are both pointing mostly to Marginal. Maybe one should be aimed more toward Highland.
