9:54 PM: A few notes – The victory for Constantine, who (like his opponent) is a West Seattle resident, gives him a fourth term as County Executive … The Seattle Port Commission has never had a woman of color, so if either (or both) Hasegawa or Mohamed win, they’ll make history.

    Can someone explain to me why Nguyen even ran again Constantine? On paper they were almost completely identical, and I cannot wrap my head around why two candidates with nearly identical stances on everything would run for the same office when Nguyen could have just ran for a more contested position against someone of whom he wasn’t an ideological copy
