TRAFFIC ALERT: West Marginal Way SW crash

Thanks for the tip. Two vehicles are reported to have collided at West Marginal Way SW and Puget Way; one hit a pole. Apparently no major injuries, as SFD has already closed out its involvement in the call.

Drove by the accident at about 8:20PM and saw another accident just after the original one on my way back through WMW likely cause by folks distracted with the first one. Gotta love all the speeding, I hope no one was seriously hurt.

I was involved in this accident. It was a hit and run. There were cars street racing as I was traveling northbound on WMW. They passed me on the left (in the shared turn lane) and clipped the back end of my car which made my car spin head on into the oncoming traffic of the southbound lanes of WMW. I landed on the curb on the west side of the street and fortunately avoided hitting two trees. The driver who hit me jumped in another vehicle and drove away. Apparently this is not a rare occurrence. It’s a miracle that myself nor others had any major injuries.

Sorry to hear that refawne. Street racing has been happening on W Marg. for a LONG time. I graduated from WSHS in ’74 and it was going on then.

Thanks Car Driver and yes agree just wanting to bring awareness to it instead of people thinking it was everyday drivers speeding on WMW. I also wasn’t aware that it was happening on Thursday evenings at 7:30 pm….
