Thanks to the two guys that rescued some ducklings out of a storm drain near the Westwood Village Transit Stop on Barton this morning.

How long is the Doc Maynard out of service? I tried to search for a story but didn’t see anything recent.

That would be because you are the first to mention it. Can’t report on what we don’t hear about. Pinging the media folks, who also speak for Metro so they may be a bit bogged down with coronavirus info. Thanks, stand by!

I no longer get transit alerts for changed, cancelled or late routes. I even tried to re-sign up, believing the alert system had changed-but I’m already signed for the Water Taxi and the Admiral buses. I assumed I had just missed the story about the Doc Maynard.

They still send some – I receive any route notification now, not just WS, via both text and email – but definitely fewer. All the ones lately have been outside WS. Today, I suspect just about every public-agency communicator in the area is in a meeting somewhere about coronavirus response, but I have an inquiry out anyway …

It took over ten minutes to get from 3rd and Columbia to 99. Is this normal on the new route? I’ve only ridden it a few times.

Sorry, comment time is over.
