MISSING: Cecilia Brabamontes, age 10. Last seen this morning in the 2400 block of SW Holden. She is wearing a black sweater, blue jeans, and white Adidas shoes with three black stripes. She did not return home from school and police are searching for her. Please call 911 if seen.
My son goes to school with, and is friends with, Cecilia. I got a call last night around 6pm or so from the school informing us about this situation and asking if we knew anything about where she could be found. We didn’t know anything out of the ordinary, but proceeded to text her just in case. We got a response back almost immediately stating she had gotten home ok and was safe! Sounds like it just might’ve been a communication error or something like that. Glad to hear all is ok now! And thanks to SPS (among other organizations) for their efforts and concerns! I’m sure we can all agree our hearts skip a beat or two when these types of situations arise!
