7:06 PM: We’re getting some questions about Guardian One over North Delridge. They’re backing up SPD as they check out a suspicious car pulled over at Delridge/Andover.
7:20 PM: The scene cleared before we arrived.

3 police vehicles zoomed past my house at very high speeds. Seems like a large response for a “suspicious vehicle”.
Ya, I heard a helicopter circling as well. I’m sure this won’t he the last update.
If it was a suspected stolen car, for example, that’s a felony stop and it would draw a big response. We just stopped at the precinct in hopes of asking the desk officer about it but they’re on break. G-1 just tweeted that it was a ‘vehicle stop.’
Unrelated call. Report of a man seen with a gun at the Super 24. So far they aren’t finding anything.
Any way we can stay up to date on this? Lots of people in the Delridge library which just locked the doors
They didn’t find anything. The person who called police to say they had seen the allegedly armed person in passing called them from the library, according to the dispatcher.
Isn’t this an open carry state? I wonder if the person was just carrying… which shouldn’t warrant a response… or was openly threatening people?
And in case anybody worries, SFD is being dispatched to Cottage Grove Commons across from Super 24 for a completely unrelated thing, woman in need of medical attention.
Feels like a day doesn’t go by and there is an incident in west Seattle, crime feels out of control and is just getting worse and worse
Except crime is NOT out of control and it is NOT getting worse and worse, and the police themselves report that most of our problems here are actually car/package thefts, burglary, or speeding.
I also called 911 when we drove down Andover from Pigeon Point at about 8:15pm and noticed three men in black ski masks at a car on 22nd with an open trunk. Not sure what happened there, but it looked suspicious so I called it in.
Can we get more information on what they said when you called. Or can we have web get more information
They said they would have someone check it out. I wanted to report it to SPD and to the blog so that Pigeon Point neighbors could information share.
