TRAFFIC/TRANSIT TODAY: Pre-holiday Tuesday

(SDOT MAP with travel times/ Is the ‘low bridge’ closed? LOOK HERE/ West Seattle-relevant traffic cams HERE)

6:57 AM: Good morning! Just two days until the 4th of July.

STADIUM ZONE TONIGHT: Mariners play at home at 7:10 pm, vs. the Cardinals. That means a late night for West Seattle Water Taxi runs.

7:53 AM: Heading outbound on an errand this morning, we can report that the eastbound bridge is moving well, NB I-5 is sluggish.

From WSDOT at 8:55:”All I-5 ramps to and from S Columbian Street blocked in SeattleAn
incident involving down power lines is blocking the I-5 on- and
off-ramps to and from South Columbian Street in both directions. There
is no estimated time for reopening. Travelers should use alternate exits
    in Seattle.

Just noticed this on our way back from aforementioned errand. Heading SB on I-5, bridge exit is fine but exit to Columbian (Beacon Hill) is closed. EB bridge is somewhat cloggy past the 99 overpass.

The West Seattle bridge exit to Columbia City is currently closed by the police. At the infamous double white line, all traffic is being directed to Northbound I-5.

Sorry, comment time is over.
