TRAFFIC ALERT: Stuck bus protruding onto 35th SW

If you usually head southbound on 35th SW through the High Point/Gatewood area, you might consider waiting or detouring. That tour bus didn’t have enough undercarriage clearance and got stuck at SW Holly, with its front end protruding into the southbound side of 35th SW. A tow truck is on the way, police told us, but it’ll be a while.

I noticed big tour buses heading up Morgan from California through Highland Park. Where are they going? I noticed it during the low bridge closure… sounds like maybe that wasn’t the reason. Seems really out of place.

Holly Street @ 35th Ave SW is a narrow, residential, non-arterial street, why is a big tour bus even using it?

Sorry, comment time is over.
